German Youth Camps

The Goethe-Institut offers fun summer camps for young people between the ages of 12 and 17. Here, teenagers from all over the world learn German together. Thanks to a diverse activity program and unique, scenic camp locations in Germany and Austria, there’s plenty of fun for everyone.

What is included in the price?

Accommodation
The young people sleep in shared rooms, and the accommodation has classrooms and group rooms.
Catering
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, including snacks during breaks.
Care
A team of supervisors is always there to take care of the young people.
Leisure programme
There are plenty of activities to experience after class.
Excursions
At the weekend, we discover new places in the surrounding area.
Transfer
We ensure safe transfer between the airport and the accommodation.
Insurance
Health insurance, accident insurance and liability insurance are included.

2-week youth courses

The two-week youth camps in the rural idyll of the Austrian Alps offer young people not only a German course but also a carefree and safe environment among their peers. Here they can make new friends, take part in group activities and create unforgettable experiences.

ages 12-14

For younger visitors between the ages of 12 and 14, we offer an exciting mix of learning German, great excursions and fun in the mountains, as well as the opportunity to meet lots of new people at the Alpine Centre!

After the daily lessons, we offer the young people lots of leisure and sports activities. In the mountains of Salzburg Land, you are in one of the most beautiful settings Austria has to offer.

3-week youth courses

Bremen
ages 15-17

Exciting city and idyllic nature go hand-in-hand – our language camp in Bremen offers both! Learning German is combined with fantastic excursions to discover the culture and surroundings of this historic trading city. An examination for a “Goethe-Zertifikat” can be booked during the camp.

Cologne
ages 14-17

Learn German with a View of the Rhine at our Language Camp in Cologne. Here, young people get to know the historic cathedral city and explore the beautiful Rhine Valley. Excursions to the fashion and media metropolis of Düsseldorf and the former capital Bonn round out the varied activity program.

Every day after class, there are a whole host of sport and outdoor leisure activities to get involved in. The foothills of the Alps in Bavaria offer ample opportunities for explorers and nature lovers.

Learn German Online Alongside School

Learn German online with support from our highly qualified teachers. Throughout the school semester, young people from around the world continuously improve their German alongside other course participants.

German youth courses for groups

The Goethe-Institut offers youth courses specifically for closed groups. Take part with your school class, your German course or as a group of friends and give the young people in your group a unique insight into German as a foreign language.

Online German Youth Camp without any previous knowledge of German

The Online German Youth Camp without any previous knowledge of German enables young people to get a taste of the German language. In interactive live sessions, the teenagers acquire a first minimum vocabulary with which they can directly enter into everyday communication.

Digital STEM Youth Camp

In our Digital STEM Youth Camp, participants explore interesting topics related to nature and technology while learning German on a topic-related basis. In online live sessions, the teenagers experience exciting STEM experiments and can ask researchers their questions.
