Sasa Mamzangwa

Sasa Mamzangwa Considered, one of the most influential writers in East London. Sasa Mamzangwa is fortunate enough to have been recognised by high learning institutions, namely Mancosa. "I use any type of creative writing to create change, to educate the nation about self-love and inheritance. I'm all for self-celebration and always call for each and everyone to use their talent, it is not about fame but the good difference it makes.
 
She is currently working as Read Aloud programme leader her work includes assisting kids in creative writing, homework and reading. She is also a poet and a musician; she has open stages for Camagwini, Mxo, Zonke, and Nathi to name a few. Two of her poems have been chosen with works of prominent artists around South Africa for a book called  Poetic Blues and will be available at educational institutions and libraries across the continent. Her poem “dreams” remain popular amongst audiences. It speaks about how the youth must keep visualising their future despite their trials.
 
She is also shooting her 1st music video which will air in August 2022. "I am in the process of recording an album. I have established myself as a live performing artist, so doing these projects are exciting, but they are a very expensive endeavour”. She collaborates with other creatives in the city including artists, makeup artists, designers, graphic designers,  actors etc. Her dream is to be well established as this will mean sustainable employment for the creatives and workers she works with.
 
The public relations management graduate has also studied Versatile Broadcasting and
always preaches that talent and education are important.
