The place of mankind among the living is the main topic. At the instigation of Cyril Dion, who already gave us his vision with Tomorrow, and the primatologist Jane Goodall, two teenagers will embark in an extraordinary quest: to find another way of living alongside other species, more as roommates than predators. To do so, they will travel and meet with scientists and activists all over the globe.

About the Film Program NAAS: Green Reel:

The film program NAAS, a collaboration of several cultural institutions in the UAE: the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region, the Embassy of France in the United Arab Emirates, the Embassy of Canada to the United Arab Emirates, the Italian Cultural Institute of Abu Dhabi, the Embassy of Switzerland to the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain and in partnership with Alliance Française Dubai, features independent films that explore relevant social and cultural topics. The first edition "Green Reel: Films for a Sustainable Future" focuses on the themes of environment and sustainability. It presents multi-genre films that tackle the burning issues of our planet in entertaining and exciting ways. NAAS: “Green Reel” runs from September 10, 2024 to November 26 at Alliance Française Dubai.
