The German Embassy Doha and the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region cooperate with Doha Film Institute and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg to realize a program of four practical workshops for filmmakers and directors as part of Qatar Germany 2017. Additionally, a special screening of short narratives and animations invites schools and students.
Thorsten Schütte, German filmmaker and professor at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg presents 11 short films by students of the German film school. The selection covers genres such as animation, fiction and commercials. The films will be shown in English or with English subtitles. The program is suitable for students over 15 years of age.
