Lecture
Sustainable Fashion Futures
Pre-opening keynotes by Ina Budde and Clare Press
Leading up to the exhibition opening of Fast Fashion - The Dark Side of Fashion, hear from two women that advocate for change in the fashion world – in their very own ways.
Berlin-based designer Ina Budde founded the concept Design for Circularity. She will share her research into the power of design as driver to move the fashion industry towards a sustainable and circular future.
Clare Press, Marie Claire fashion editor and slow fashion expert, will explain how Australians may or may not be moving towards a more ethical fashion future.
The lecture will be facilitated by Kiri Delly, Deputy Head of Industry Engagement at RMIT School of Fashion and Textiles.
