ANEYA
Kareyce Fotso, great Cameroonian singer, and Reiner Witzel, top German saxophonist, together on stage! This musical rendez-vous between Cameroon and Germany is one of the most prestigious in the series of co-productions initiated by the Goethe-Institut. During a spontaneous jam session with the two artists, they achieved perfect symbiosis, producing an exquisite mix of western jazz and African rhythms. Although the artists have different cultural and musical backgrounds, they speak the same language: music. In Douala and Yaounde, Kareyce Fotso and Reiner Witzel will showcase new, jointly produced songs from their new album, Ane Ya, produced by Goethe-Institut Kamerun.
