WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME

Suffering of fibromyalgia patients
I chose to write about the suffering of fibromyalgia patients in Egypt. It is a popular disease, but doctors often take a long time to diagnose patients with fibromyalgia. Most patients spend 10 to 20 years to discover that they are fibromyalgia patients. They feel strong, continuous pain in different parts of their bodies, however when doing medical tests and x rays, there appears to be no problem. Therefore, they cannot prove that they are ill and thus cannot take sick leave at work. Instead, they usually end up losing their job.

After publishing my article, two of my colleagues told me that they have the same symptoms of  fibromyalgia. The article helped them to discover the reasons of their continuous pain, so they went to a doctor and got checked for fibromyalgia.
