Panel Discussion
"Architecture and Society in Contemporary Ethiopia"
The society in Ethiopia is passing through unprecedented transformations. The built environment is the most visible physical reality that displays them. What is the role of architects in presenting alternatives, documenting the story of the change, and producing architecture that is as sustainable as it is meaningful in a society that sometimes needs daring architects to show the way forward?
These and other issues are discussed by three architects that represent the practice of architecture in different generations.
Moderator: Dawit Benti
