#StopHatredNow 2020

New Standards - Tools for inclusive, anti-racist and feminist action

Online

The intercultural and anti-racist platform #StopHatredNow makes its yearly return! Due to the pandemic, the event will be held remotely in a virtual setting. The current situation has hit the art and cultural field hard, and it is now more than ever time to emphasise anti-racist and intercultural practices. The event, organised in collaboration with several art and cultural organisations, offers tools to create a more inclusive, diverse and feminist art field and strives to create discourse about diversity, power structures, otherness, representation and anti-racist strategies.

Inclusivity, diversity, non-discrimination, accessibility and social as well as ecological sustainability are issues that determine the future of every art and cultural institution. This year’s theme is New Standards , which in this current situation feels more topical than ever before.

Stay tuned for free lectures, discussions, artistic outcomes and workshops that offer concrete tools for learning and doing. Because #StopHatredNow will in 2020 be a wholly virtual event, the audience can join in from the comfort of their own homes.

This year’s theme New Standards includes topics such as redefining standards, feminist leadership and reflecting over institutional criticism. Throughout the week we will also consider how change and new standards can be created from within the institutions in a sustainable and inclusive way.

Welcome along!
