Between The Covers is a book club in the Library of the Goethe-Institut Ghana, held once every month. It focuses mainly on German and African Literature.

Goethe Cinema: Die Unbeugsamen

n honor of the International Women‘s Day 2024, Goethe-Institut will be hosting a film screening event centering different aspects of the female experience.

“Die Unbeugsamen” (2021, eng. The Unyielding”) is a documentary film directed by Torsten Körner. It tells the stories of women in the Federal Republic of Germany (“Bonn Republic”) that had to fight for their participation in the democratic decision-making processes within the male-dominated field of politics.
