In 1994 Dr. Corinna Zimber founded a mail order bookstore for audio books called AUDIOBUCH in Freiburg i.Br. (Germany). A little later the publishing work was added. It all started with the audio book "Ancient Rome and its Surroundings", a timeless title that reveals the secret passion of the company founder: classical archeology. (In this subject she did her doctorate on "The Artemis Versailles".) In the meantime the publishing program of AUDIOBUCH has developed steadily. Over 600 titles are now available.
