Goethe-Institut Hongkong is pleased to collaborate with the International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong) in presenting "Octavian Saiu in conversation with Kai Tuchmann: From Brecht to Documentary Theatre" on September 19, 2024 (Thu) from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Black Box Studio of the Institut.

Kai Tuchmann is a veteran German theatre-maker who has been involved in the dramaturgical creation of several documentary theatres over the years. His learning and creative journey has been deeply inspired by Brecht and has developed into a unique aesthetic for his work.

Moderated by Octavian Saiu, an international theatre critic, the conversation will discuss the legacy and contemporary practices of German theatre.
