My Games is a project that documents popular games for children to enhance their psychological abilities against the background of the war in Yemen. Moreover, it supports their education and motor abilities. At the end of the project, a book was issued so that the games can be integrated into school activities. 

The project’s main goal is reviving the popular cultural heritage related to popular children’s games.

Mohamed Ameen © Goethe Institut - Jordan Mohammad Amin Saeed Farhan, a Yemeni journalist, cultural activist, and interactive content maker, recipient of the UNICEF Award for Children’s Journalism, director of the Mashager Media platform specializing in Yemeni culture, art, and literature. He managed and implemented many cultural and artistic projects, including documenting the intangible cultural heritage in the city of Taiz.

"My favorite moment was when the attendees interacted with the event's open day, which aimed to revive the folklore of popular games and integrate them into schools. The event’s participants expressed their great admiration for the project."
