Sawt Al-Ard is a cultural project that seeks to document the Yemeni oral and intangible heritage with the aim of preserving it.  At this stage, the project sheds light on the oral heritage of Al-Hujariyah district in Taiz Governorate, through the Mahagil and Mulala chants, as well as songs for special occasions and weddings, that are presented within audio pieces in the Talaim podcast.

Favourite Moment
"Despite its difficulties, one of the most beautiful moments during the implementation of the project was when I spent ten days, accompanied by my mother, in my village in Taiz governorate to record its cultural and historical heritage. It took me about 15 hours by car to reach it. Another special moment was when I published the first episode of the Talaim podcast .The podcast feels like my own baby and the listeners have the opportunity to get to know me personally.”
