What we offer

The Goethe-Institut Boston regularly organizes events at schools to get young people interested in German language.

The Goethe-Institute film catalogue comprises over 600 culturally relevant feature and documentary films available for research and loan. All films are stored at the Goethe-Institut Boston and are available on digital format (DVD and blue ray). The films are available for rental for non-commercial screenings by all cultural and educational institutions within the United States. Films cannot be rented to individuals.

The German Book Club meets once a month to discuss contemporary German literature, from modern classics to more recent arrivals on the literary scene.

The Philosophy Group is an independent discussion group and meets once a month at the Goethe-Institut. Books and authors are introduced in the beginning, and discussions are lightly moderated.

Our translation funding program supports the publication of books by German authors in another language.
