Hoe Su Fern
Advisor and Curator
Dr HOE Su Fern is an arts researcher, educator, and advocate based in Singapore. She has spoken, researched and published widely on arts and cultural policy, urban cultural economies, placemaking and the conditions of artistic and cultural production in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
She is currently Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Arts and Culture Management Programme at the Singapore Management University. She is also Senior Research Advisor for the Global Cultural Districts Network, an international membership organisation with a mission to improve the quality of urban life through the arts, culture and creative industries. Together with Dr Aurel von Richthofen, she was part of the original advisory committee that conceptualised this project.
