Transpollutant (2022)
By Irene AgrivinaWe, humans, are never alone in this world.
We are only a guest along with other guests.
How then, can we live along with others?
How can we know and respect them?
Reflecting on air pollution in cities, TRANSPOLLUTANT incorporates live data from select urban environments and natural ecosystems. Data from both sources are then transformed into an audio-visual installation that foregrounds mankind's relationship with nature. It raises an awareness on humanity's impact on the natural world and positives the symbiotic relationship between living and nonliving organisms as insight to complementary ways of being and living together.
