Description

Every language is embedded in a socio-cultural context and can only be considered and thus taught as an integral part of any society.
In our learning videos, German learners gain insight into Germany's cultural-historical events (e.g. The Fall of the Berlin Wall) and also immerse themselves in the customs and traditions of contemporary Germany (e.g. Lantern Parade). We follow the principle of product-oriented learning. With this approach students will create their own products after having watched the videos (e.g. making Advent wreaths, rehearsing a song etc.).
The learning videos will be published on the Youtube channel and Facebook page of the Goethe-Institut Ljubljana. They will be enriched with worksheets, copy templates, didactic material, transcriptions, song lyrics etc....
