© Mellaney Roberts Born in Willowmore, South Africa, Mellaney Roberts completed her National Diploma in Fine Arts, 2010, BTech Fine Arts (Ceramics), 2011, and Masters of Fine Arts (Ceramics), 2017, all at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Gqeberha. She is currently reading towards her PhD in Fine and Studio Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology. Roberts has been a lecturer in ceramics for several years and is currently lecturing at the Tshwane University of Technology. Roberts has been selected for the Nando’s Creative Exchange Programme 2023. Roberts recently exhibited at the Turbine Art fair 2023 under the Sculpt division. She has received numerous awards, including 2021 Top 20 Finalists: Ekurhuleni Thami Mnyele Fine Arts Awards, the Nina Hole Memorial Residency Award at Guldagergaard, and an International Ceramic Research Center in Skælskør, Denmark.
