Ha Thuy Hang is a multimedia composer and improviser based in Hanoi. 
 
She studied classical music from a young age, then she graduated with a degree in Musicology from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Hang has a special interest in Vietnamese traditional music and art in contemporary contexts. Her works often explore the correlation between indigenous cultures and social change. She founded The Future of Tradition, a project aimed at young people who are interested in the preservation and development of traditional culture and arts. Her works have been shown in Vietnam, Italy, Germany, Malta, and South Korea among other.
