Kahaniyon ki Khirki: A Windowful of Stories

The Incredible Child journey continues with a new chapter, hosted by writer and filmmaker Samina Mishra. Each child created - or recreated - stories around themselves, drawn from what they had experienced or imagined in their neighbourhood of Khirkee.

The children, aged nine to 15, living in and around Khirkee, shared stories of joy, and stories ending in tears, hopeful and heartbreaking, stories that give us a window into the powerful imagination of children. The second chapter of the Simurgh art workshop for children became the Kahaniyon ki Khirkee, a world constructed of stories.

This series will share each child’s story narrated in their own words, told using a unique doll each of them made from waste material, and then took along for adventures in Khirkee.
