Sounds of Nature: The Mystery of the Invisible Fish

Université et grand public

Have you ever heard the scream of a caterpillar? Did you know that fishes talk or that elephants can hear with their feet? Since the dawn of time, animals communicate in thousands of ways. Scientists from all over the world dedicate their lives to researching the mysteries of animal communication. In Corsica and Sardinia, Eric Parmentier and Lucia Di Iorio show how fish make noises underwater to communicate with each other, including clicks, grunts, burps – and even farts. Alongside with sounds-hunters wiretapping biodiversity, we will discover worlds revealed by acoustic journeys defined by water.
