Andreas Weidinger und Sascha Seelemann - Gäng für die Ewigkeit

Andreas Weidinger is an award-winning film and television composer. He is a member of the German Television Academy (DAfD) and the Academy of German music composers (Akademie Deutscher Musikautoren). His book on film scores, which has become a new standard work on film composition in the DACH region, is expected to be (was??) reissued in 2022. His recent projects include the score for the fantasy movie Die Wolf-Gäng (“The magic kids: three unlikely heroes”), directed by Tim Trageser and the score for Till Franzen’s highly acclaimed two-part television film “Charlotte Link - Die Suche”.
The title song presented here, “Gäng für die Ewigkeit”, is part of the soundtrack of “Die Wolf-Gäng”. It is performed by Sascha Seelemann. The lyrics and melody were written by Andreas Weidinger in collaboration with Thomas Hien, who is a member of the globally successful indie folk duo “Chris and Thomas”. Besides his work with the duo, Thomas regularly releases solo albums and works as a co-author with producers like Scott Chesak (Panic! at the Disco, Weezer) and others.

Andreas and Thomas not only share a longstanding and friendly work relationship, but also the conviction that music in movies is the secret key to the hearts of the audience.
