“Public Space” is certainly for everyone in the community, area, city or country and not only for someone or any group or organization to use. It should answer the true need and benefit the people who are able to use it individually or collectively. It is important to categorize the stakeholders of the area and define the primary and secondary users and how they relate. Creating a network for the stakeholders’ collaboration is also essential and should not be overlooked.

With variety in sizes and diversity, it has brought problems, opportunities and challenges to create a system in which we can coexist. Physical and non-physical city design is about planning, regenerate and management because cities are complex and diverse. Knowledge for understanding cities should also be diverse.

We cannot develop a city for a better quality of life without considering the environment. Would it be nice if we can combine environmental sustainability with city development. We should learn to manage the city to be environmental friendly and expand on the idea ‘Green city’.
