This group in Bangkok started their project by doing research on people’s behavior and perception of waste management and waste separation. Do people really separate garbage? Why? How do they do it? Or why don’t they do it? They noted that for people to see the importance of waste separation, they must understand the benefit of doing it and the consequences of not doing it. For some people, used plastic water bottles for example are just simply waste. But to others, used plastic water bottles can be something for selling. Therefore, the word 'waste' can mean something different for each person. So the group decided to create a space to exchange things that people don't want or need anymore, but did not go into the waste disposal process yet. The platform was a learning space that explained possibilities of recycling and building social relationship among the participants who are concerned about environment issues.
