Architectural photography workshop and city walking tour in Sathorn area
Which buildings characterized the cityscape of Sathorn before it was dominated by skyscrapers? What did everyday life look like and who lived here?
In cooperation with Learning Fest Bangkok 2024, the Goethe-Institut Thailand is organizing an architectural photography workshop with a tour of the financial district Sathorn to learn about the area through changing perspectives over time.
The event is designed for young photographers aged 18 to 25. Under the guidance of Beer-Weerapon Singnoi, architectural photographer and founder of the page Foto_Momo, the workshop participants will immerse themselves in the history of Sathorn and record their observations in photographs. As a special highlight, the group will gain exclusive access to the grounds of the German Embassy on Sathon Street.
Participants are not required to bring professional photography equipment. The camera of your mobile device will work just fine.
Registration is open from today until July 15, 2024.
Due to capacity restrictions, only 30 places will be given. The shortlist will be announced on July 23, 2024.
