The Unfolding Kafka Festival is a biennial platform for outstanding international artistic exchange that enriches contemporary art in Thailand. The 5th edition of the festival, which not only celebrates its tenth anniversary but also commemorates the centenary of Franz Kafka's death, will be the most ambitious yet.

The Unfolding Kafka Festival 2024 will take place from 1 to 21 November at various venues in Bangkok: Goethe-Institut Thailand, Jim Thompson Art Centre, Neilson Hays Library and Sodsai Pantoomkomol Centre for Dramatic Arts (Chulalongkorn University) and Alliance Francaise, Bangkok. It presents a diverse programme of showcases and performances by over 30 international artists from 12 countries, activities, exhibitions, fashion shows, screenings, workshops and artist talks.

The Goethe-Institut, one of the co-organisers of the festival, will present three interesting programmes, including the co-produced performance "Mo[ram]lam" by Cocoon Dance Theater (Germany) and Molam Artists (Thailand), directed by Jitti Chopee, the acclaimed romantic drama "The Glory of Life", which tells the story of Kafka's last romantic life, and a poster exhibition "Completely Kafka".

The Goethe-Institut programmes are only part of the festival's programme. For more information, please visit the festival's main website at www.unfoldingkafkafestival.com.
