Alejandro – Alex – Madrigal works as a data analyst in Berlin. The Costa Rican came to Germany in May 2022 on a “jobseeker visa”. One thing is for certain: he wants to stay.

... was born in San José, Costa Rica, in 1989. He studied economics at the Universidad de Costa Rica. In May 2022 he came to Germany with a “visa for jobseekers”. Since October 2022 he has been working at Interworks GmbH as a Data Analytics Consultant .

The Visa for jobseekers for Germany is a residence permit that allows skilled workers to stay in the country for six months in order to look for a job. Anyone who finds a job during this time receives a work visa for Germany or a work permit for Germany.
