Across Generations – Learning from Art, Culture, and One Another
© Anna Primou
What potential do museums offer to intergenerational and heterogeneous visitor groups? The Across Generations project takes the dialogue between generations as its starting point, develops new methods for educational work at museums and contributes to the necessary diversification and inclusivity of cultural institutions.
From 2020 to 2023, practitioners from various museums in Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Germany and Turkey developed formats and methods for intergenerational outreach at their institutions in a transnational exchange. Concepts and methods were first tested in a joint training series as well as workshops with visitors. The results will be published in July 2023 as a "method box" that can also be used by other museums and cultural institutions.
