Orquesta Exprimental de Intrumentos Nativos (Bolivia), Solistenkollektiv PHØNIX16 (Germany)
The Bolivian La Paz-based Experimental Orchestra for Indigenous Instruments and the Berlin soloist collective PHØNIX16 develop jointly a concert project on ENVIRONMENT in its multiple meanings: the social ENVIRONMENT surrounding us, the world we live in; ENVIRONMENT as nature; ENVIRONMENT as political, philosophical and acoustic thought; and ENVIRONMENT as a form of artistic practice.
In research and experimental processes in Cusco, La Paz and Berlin, both groups develop transcriptions of DE NATURA SONORUM (Bernard Parmegiani) and RÍOS DEL SUEÑO (Beatriz Ferreyra). New compositions by Carlos Gutierrez and Marisol Jimenez also result from this.
