Climate change, crises that lead to wars... The state of the world is worrying and seems to be on the verge of a rupture. From this observation, a concern is born, shared by the team of EQUI-LIBRE: Is a more balanced world possible? Can balance and equality rhyme? How can balance be born? What is balance?
The project is carried by three artists: the scenographer Ikhyeon Park (Korea / France) as well as the dancers and choreographers Sanga Ouattara (Ivory Coast) and Yahi Nestor Gahé (Germany / Ivory Coast).
Beyond a formal research on the body and gravity, a scenographic device is added, large tumblers, which will in turn build and destroy balances.
Between dance and scenography, this creation will show different preoccupations (power relationships, inequalities, global warming, Woman/Man relationships...) and will participate, at its own scale, to the invention of new balances.
