I think it’s worth mentioning the 2017 Minority SafePack Initiative, in which European ethnic groups petitioned for a public hearing in the European Parliament to safeguard their basic educational rights, particularly to have their languages taught at school. The roughly fifty million members of ethnic minorities in Europe received considerable support. The initiative became a successful project, garnering a million signatures in only six months.
