Yes, it’s true: I’m the first Slovene to serve in the cabinet of the President of the European Commission, where I’ve watched the president lead the European Union at a critical juncture. This is a unique and very intense experience because we have a president who really wants to move Europe forward and make it a Europe of the future. It’s a matter very close to her heart.
