Are you an artist or cultural professional seeking to collaborate with the Goethe-Institut abroad?
The work of the Goethe-Institut is locally structured. This means that the respective institutes abroad decide on acceptance of projects. The local conditions abroad are decisive for the organisation of cultural programming, as it is always integrated into the local cultural policy context. Cultural work is always done in cooperation with local partners. We’d be happy to help you find suitable contacts at our
institutes abroad.
Are you looking for financial support for your projects?
Unfortunately, the Goethe-Institut in Germany is not equipped with adequate funds to promote projects in the traditional sense. The Goethe-Institut sees itself as a partner in project development, not as a grant provider. Abroad, the Goethe-Institut can then provide co-funding if it is a project partner.
