Fokus Lernen provides material that will support and enhance concentration and strengthen the student’s ability to learn. These basic practices set the tone for a productive and focused lesson, relying on the fact that quiet and relaxed minds learn better and make learning German more successful.
Fokus Lernen is designed to focus students’ attention at the beginning of a lesson. There are exercises for 10 weeks of 2-5 minutes each. Additional material can be used to calm students’ nerves before exams or to center a class that has lost focus. The practices are based on mindfulness principles - students practice their listening skills, consolidate vocabulary and provide ideas for reflection.
