The play depicts a situation that could be lived in more than one country of contemporary sub-saharan Africa. During the election period, a politician is about to resort to some unethical manoeuvres to win the election. But an attack by an armed gun man will change the course of things. It is this incident between the two men that creates the intrigue of the plot.
