GOETHE-DECOUVERTE 2024: THE WINNERS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN!

At the end of a process launched in December 2023 with a call for applications from Cameroonians under the age of 30, a jury made up of a wide range of artists and related disciplines has chosen the 11 winners who will fill the cultural programme from May 2024. On 24.02.2024, the 29 candidates appeared before 18 jurors in 7 categories: word-based performance, visual arts, comics, dance, music sound, music voice and theatre. The judges selected the candidates who stood out for their originality, creativity, the technical and artistic qualities of their performance, the relevance of their project and the promise of a career. The Goethe-Institut congratulates all the winners and looks forward to seeing you soon to discover the new nuggets of culture in Cameroon. The shows will take place outside the Goethe-Institut, in various venues around Yaounde. The calendar of shows will be available very soon.
