The Goethe-Institut is looking for a seminar facilitator in the cities of Yaoundé, Douala, Bafoussam, Bertoua and Ebolowa within the framework of the project think professional! project to initiate students of the second, première and terminale classes to the practical notions of writing a motivation letter, CV and the steps to follow when applying for an internship or job offer.
About think professional ! project
Since 2019, the Goethe-Institut Kamerun has set up the think-professional! project, which enables young people in the second, première and terminale classes to acquire professional experience as early as possible through internships of at least 04 weeks in companies. The aim is to give them the opportunity to gain a realistic idea of the professional world and to help them acquire the necessary skills and aptitudes that will guide them in their educational and professional orientation choices.
Task description
- Participatory learning through interaction with students in seminars
- To interest students in the use of computer tools
- Preparing students for the realities of professional orientation in the Cameroonian context
- Communication with the think professional! team and local providers
- Assistance with general administrative documents
Requirements
- Graduated from university (minimum 2 years of higher education) in a relevant field of study
- Good knowledge of teaching methods
- Good knowledge of French, English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Good knowledge of information technology (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, gmail, yahoo, etc.)
- Enjoy working with students
- Good communicative, social and intercultural skills
- Ability to work independently
