Road to the Sea

A collective that experiments with Afro-Latin and mestizo American sounds and music, which, mixed with a hip-hop beat, seek to create a musical record of the territories where it works. The project reclaims the expressions of those places by proposing freestyle as an instrument that facilitates spoken narrative, as Guaguancó and Bullerengue used to, long ago. Cali has been an inspiration for several of their songs thanks to experimentation with radio, sound landscape, and collaborative work in that city.
