Anthropologist and professor at Universidad del Rosario. Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg in Berlin. Uribe researches political violence and contemporary conflicts. She was director of the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History. She was also a member of the Historical Memory Group of the National Commission for Reparation and Reconciliation.
