BY TRAIN:

You can reach Mannheim in approx. 50 minutes by S-Bahn from Karlsruhe main station. Take the S3 towards Germersheim or the S9 towards Ludwigshafen(Rh)Hbf or Mannheim. The S-Bahn takes you to Mannheim twice an hour. You can travel even faster by EC, IC or ICE. For example, the ICE 276 towards Berlin or the EC6 towards Hamburg-Altona will take you to Mannheim in just over 20 minutes.

From Mannheim main station, you can take the tram 1 towards Rheinau Bahnhof every 10 minutes to the "Hochschule" stop. From there it is only a few minutes' walk to the Goethe-Institut at Oskar-Meixner-Straße 6.

BY CAR:

From Karlsruhe, take the A5 towards Frankfurt. Take the exit "A6 Richtung Mannheim/ Koblenz/Saarbrücken/A61" and follow the A6. Take the exit "MA-Rheinau/ Schwetzingen-Nord Richtung Heidelberg/Hafen 2/Brühl" and follow the B36 until Neckarauer Str. and continue on Oskar-Meixner-Straße. The Goethe-Institut Mannheim is located at Oskar-Meixner-Straße 6.
