The S8 takes you from Mönchengladbach to Düsseldorf every 20 minutes. The journey takes about 34 minutes. The regional train RE4 or RE13 is even faster: it will take you to Düsseldorf main station in about 25 minutes. Since the Goethe-Institut is only about 100 metres from the main exit of the main station, you can get to your German course quickly and easily.
BY CAR:
You can reach the Goethe-Institut Düsseldorf in about 30 minutes via the autobahn A52. In Düsseldorf, take the exit towards Flughafen D-Nord (Airport D-North) on the Rheinkniebrücke bridge, keep right at the junction and follow the signs towards "Zentrum/Kunstsammlung Ständehaus". Via Haroldstraße, Graf-Adolf-Straße and Karlstraße you will reach Immermannstraße. The Goethe-Institut is located at Immermannstraße 65b.
