It is one of the many goals of projects under the Ta’ziz Partnership to support and strengthen civil society. To this end, the Goethe-Institut organised a networking event in Alexandria for the alumnae*i of the projects “Civic Education”, “Gender Awareness”, and “Focus: Society and Diversity”.
The three-day event aimed to connect project alumnae*i amongst each other as well as with representatives from civil society institutions and initiatives, such as Caritas Egypt and Care Egypt, that are active in the fields of civic education and gender. The meeting was moreover an opportunity for the alumnae*i to exchange experiences and to familiarise themselves with helpful tools to work on civic education and gender.
