Virtual German Teachers' Day 2023

The second Virtual German Teachers' Day for Northwest Europe will address the topic of "Living Diversity Together - in Schools and in German Teaching". Teachers will receive important impulses to reflect on diversity sensitivity in society and educational institutions as well as on the teaching materials used in their own lessons. We will also address the topic of "body shaming and lookism in an educational context" and the influence of African-American cultures in Germany. In a concluding panel discussion, we will focus on the question of how to integrate diversity issues into one's own teaching in order to competently and actively support the important confrontation with social diversity.
