The Goethe-Institut offers the unique teacher training course DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) which incorporates the principle of professional development through collaborative action research. This course combines
module 1 “Lehrkompetenz” and
6 “Unterrichtsplanung”.
Participants can:
- enhance their current language and communication skills and competencies
- learn how to devise tasks and activities that achieve the intended learning outcomes and support interactive learning
- explore and enhance their own teaching philosophy, teaching environment and effective teaching materials
- enhance their competencies to achieve the learning outcomes
- learn how to teach German as a foreign language systematically and appropriately at primary level and/or in accordance with the current GCSE and A-Levels specifications
- carry out teacher-led investigative models to support CPD
- learn how a classroom based research can be facilitated
Blended learning brings together the best aspects of the internet:
- offering participants the opportunity to work in their own time
- collaborating with the group in online activities
- receiving ongoing online support from experienced teacher trainers Liz Black and Sabine Junker
