Composer Claudia Molitor creates music that reflects the space around it, giving us reason to notice and relate to the environments we exist in.
Throughout hcmf// 2019, a selection of Molitor’s music and film works will be installed at Temporary Contemporary’s unique Market Gallery in Queensgate Market. This will include Auricularis Superior, a ‘meditation on the activity of listening’, originally commissioned by hcmf// as part of Field Studies 2017: Listening After Pauline Oliveros. Molitor will also exhibit a new series of staunchly political works that map out the mind-numbing normalisation of racism, misogyny and anti-environmentalism spreading across the West.
