Acropolis Museum

The Acropolis Museum is a thematic museum, the collections of which include the findings of only one archaeological site, the Athenian Acropolis. The Museum offers a comprehensive overview of the character and historical course of the Sacred Rock and its slopes. The culmination of the Museum’s exhibition plan, the third floor, is devoted exclusively to the sculptural decoration of the Parthenon, the largest temple of the Acropolis. Visitors of all ages can experience the Museum through a vast range of activities on offer. At the same time, the research activities of the Museum cover a wide range of fields and are aimed at protecting, preserving and promoting its collections.
