Erbil

KultKino / Ciné CLub

Both in the German film "Nahschuss" (the last execution) by director Franziska Stünkel (September 7) and in the French drama "Arthur Rambo" by director Laurent Cantet (September 14) the question of identity and integrity is raised: in "Nahschuss", the young scientist Franz Walter becomes entangled in secret service activities for the GDR regime for career purposes, in "Arthur Rambo" the Franco-Arab writer Karim D. is caught up by his past in the form of his former Internet alias.
Both films are based on true events.

The films will be shown in the original language with subtitles at 6:30 p.m. at the Institut Francais d’Irak à Erbil.

The music residency in Sulaymaniyah will take place from October 24 to November 2. Musicians and singers from all over Iraq are welcome to apply until September 30th.
