The Goethe-Institut Korea promotes international cultural exchange. Our projects are created in partnership and close cooperation with cultural institutions, cultural initiatives, and artists from Korea, Germany, and worldwide. They invite an open, trusting dialog, joint artistic production, and the exchange of diverse perspectives.

Digital library

The Onleihe is Goethe-Institut’s digital library (eLibrary). Here you can download about 20,000 German language eBooks, audio books, movies, materials for German language learners, magazines and newspapers.

Film archive

We offer institutions and cultural associations over 650 German films on DVD free of charge for non-commercial screenings in Korea.

On-site cultural archive

The on-site archive of the Goethe-Institut Korea tells the story of the institute's multifaceted activities since 1968 and can be visited by appointment.
