Artistic interventions

On October 10, 2012 Belarusian artist Mikhail Hulin realized his artistic action “Personal monument”. The artist, accompanied by three volunteers, was drifting through the city with portable modules that were temporarily placed on the squares of Minsk. The action was realized in Kalinin Square, Jakub Kolas Square and Independence Square. On politically sensitive October Square the artist and his companions were temporarily detained by the militia and again released after a few hours. In November he was acquitted of all the charges against him and could as well participate in the closing conference of “Going Public” in Leipzig.
